Gabriela (mother of Ioana)

"Few months ago, my daughter (8 and a half) expressed the wish to learn playing the piano. We had second thoughts, as we didn't have a piano at home, but it turned out to be a good decision. Playing the notes is super fun, even if sometimes she gets upset if she thinks it's to hard. With just one lesson per week and some small practice at home, any kid will be able to play some partitures in short time...at least with a teacher like Nace. :) Grateful to meet such a dedicated professional, with positive vibe and good connection with young students!"

Juan (father of Julia)

"Our 6 year old daughter Julia has had piano lessons with Nace since October. From the beginning, Nace very quickly put our daughter at ease. Julia was able to play short piano songs in a few months. Nace is an inspiring, patient and thorough teacher who challenges children to find the reward of putting effort in practicing piano. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nace as a piano teacher.”

Lucia (mother of Beatrice and Martha)

"Nace has been the piano teacher for both of our daughters of 10 and 6 years old for about 1 year. He knows how to approach and catch kids’ interest at this age, tailoring his teaching approach to their specific needs, timings and making sure they celebrate small successes to build up motivation. He is flexible and generous teacher, we strongly recommend him!!"

Nace organizes annual concerts for his students, providing both a platform for their performances and showcasing his own solo concerts, serving as a significant encouragement in the educational journey of his students. Together with Nace, we have conducted charitable concerts where all proceeds go to children with type 1 diabetes. These concerts, attended by approximately 100 guests, involve Nace Slak introducing the compositions and their history, bridging classical music to both young and adult audiences. Nace Slak exhibits a passionate and professional approach to music education.

Milena

Nace, my piano teacher.

A year has passed since I decided to re-start learning to play the piano. During my elementary and high school years, I attended a music school, but I had to pause this practice due to my studies. The desire persisted and came to life in my mature years. Who would teach me? The quick answer from my son-in-law was Nace Slak. I made the call, and I was warmly welcomed.

After a year, I can say that it has been one of my best decisions lately. Nace, with his knowledge, skills, talent, incredible dedication, discipline, gentle firmness, and precision, creates a quality, encouraging, and understanding environment for my musical, piano, and personal development in every lesson. At times, I get a bit frustrated due to clumsiness and slowness, but my teacher remains steadfast and unwavering in trust and encouragement. He skillfully supports my interest and joy in playing the piano and engaging with music.

With an appropriate didactic approach and various exercises, he guides me on the path of different challenges. With his help, I become a more subtle, precise listener to music, piano tones, rhythm, and the dynamics of playing. Thus, I explore and discover new dimensions of my potentials. For me, the piano lesson with Nace is also a lesson for life. The process of learning to play the piano reflects my life strategies and habits, which are good to revisit periodically.

I am aware that teaching a mature adult is different from teaching children and teenagers. Nace excels in this role. Youth and maturity complement each other beautifully, and I am grateful for how rich this intergenerational collaboration can be with mutual respect.

Laurence (mother of Nathan)

“Our 9-year-old son started playing four and a half years ago with Nace. Thanks to his own passion for piano, he was able to convey enthusiasm and passion for music, giving him the right tools, techniques and advices to grow over the years and the desire to always improve. We can only recommend Nace as a teacher as our son wouldn’t have the level he has today without him. Thank you Nace.”

Rafael (father of Ruth)

"Our daughter Ruth has been studying piano with Nace for 5 years. What we like most about Nace is his professionalism, and that he combines rigor and demand with understanding of the circumstances of the moment. Above all, Nace believes in his students and tries to make them not only enjoy playing piano, but also that they try their best. Our ambition was for Ruth to understand and enjoy playing the piano, and we believe both have been achieved"
